When did you start your activities as a volunteer group, and how many members do you currently have?
Our activities began at the end of 2019, and we currently have around 150 volunteers, both male and female.

 

What motivated the founding of this group?
To advance education, empower youth, and assist the poor and those displaced from their homes due to continuous bombing campaigns.

 

A brief background on the founders:
They are university graduates with various skills in management, media, and strong community relations.

 

What activities and services do you provide?
Educational, protection, youth empowerment, and emergency response services.

 

Which governorates do you operate in?
Aleppo, Idlib, Damascus, Latakia, and Homs.

 

What is your motto or philosophy regarding volunteer work? What areas do you primarily focus on?
Education, protecting individuals at risk of violence, and combating child labor exploitation.

 

How can individuals join your group and participate in your activities?
Through announcements on our social media pages and by applying via an online form.

 

Do you offer training or orientation programs for new volunteers?
Absolutely.

 

What requirements or skills do you look for in volunteers?
They should have a passion for serving the community, believe in the idea of volunteering and giving, and have at least two years of experience in this field.

 

Do you collaborate with other organizations? If yes, what is the nature of these partnerships?
Yes, absolutely. We partner with various organizations, some providing logistical support and others participating in joint campaigns and activities, such as Kafaf Humanitarian Association, Violet, Syria Relief, and the Syrian Civil Defense team.

 

Do you receive any support from governmental or non-governmental organizations (local or international)? If yes, what kind of support?
The team does not receive any support from local or international organizations.

 

What are the main challenges you face as a volunteer team?
The lack of adequate and sustainable funding.

What is your vision and future plans to expand or develop your activities?
We aim to establish broader partnerships, join volunteer team alliances, and attract more Syrians who believe in the idea of volunteering.
